Red Oak and Walnut

        Mouse Cheese Board

An ideal cutting board for cheese! These mouse boards are hand-cut, hand-sanded, and hand-oiled across the river in Vermont by Denis Desjardins, Sr.  This high quality board will give you years of service. It measures 10 inches by 6 inches, the perfect size for a one pound block of Harman's Really-Aged Cheddar Cheese. The board has a rawhide tail and a wood-burnt eye.

        Your Choice:
Cherry - light to reddish colored wood.
Red Oak - known for a distinctive grain
Mystery Board - Denis will occasionally have an extra piece of wood left over from another of his woodworking products that is the right size to make a mouse, like the dark walnut in the photo. If you choose "mystery board", we'll pick one of the boards to put in your package but you won't know what type until you open it up and it could be a combination of woods.

Proper Care of the Cutting Board
        1. Do NOT place in dishwasher.
        2. Keep away from heat or direct sunlight.
        3. Wash with light soap and water after use.
        4. Do not immerse in water and dry immediately
        5. Rub with a vegetable-based oil (canola, olive, sunflower), a mineral oil or bees oil wood preservative, as needed, depending on usage. There is no such thing as oiling too often
