Harman’s Really-Aged Cheddar, vintage 2023:  Our cheese is a natural, premium grade, white cheddar made in upstate New York for us in May 2023.  It's been aging for 2 years.  

This Cheddar is wrapped in heavy saran and then in Kraft paper. It is NOT vacuum-sealed but you have our unconditional 100% guarantee that with refrigeration this cheddar will keep for 4 weeks from the date of delivery.  We recommend always wrapping it up tight after each use with saran wrap. 

Delightful Cheddar Cheese Cocktail Spreads, using John Harman's secret recipe. 

Due to circumstances beyond our control,  we received our last batch of Cocktail Spreads in early May.  We will not be carrying this product in the future.  

The spreads date back to the 1940's and 1950's when Mr. Harman convinced the Chef of an exclusive New York Supper Club to share the recipe.  When John Harman was vp of J.W. Thompson Advertising, he had the knack of talking New York Chefs into giving him their recipes.  He carried a little black book with him for all these recipes. It is sad to see a product disappear that dates back to when the store started in the late 50's.

Made with Harman's Really-Aged Cheddar, Sandeman Oporto Port Wine, and lightly spiced with Cayenne Pepper. We "spike" one spread  with Courvoisier Cognac and the other with Old Jamaica Rum. Serve at room temperature.
